About

Bering Air is a FAA certified US regional air service based in Nome, Alaska, with hubs in Kotzebue and Unalakleet.  We operate scheduled passenger and cargo flights seven days a week out of each hub to 32 communities along the northwest coast of Alaska.

Our wide variety of aircraft is also available for charter anywhere in Alaska, Canada, the lower 48 United States, and the Russian Far East. Our helicopter department is certified as an FAA part 133 operator providing external load (sling and basket) services for bulky loads and fuel to remote locations.

We are an OAS/AMD approved carrier providing flight services to the Park Service, BLM and other federal entities.  We are here for all your Alaska aviation transportation and logistics needs.

Bering Air has received numerous safety awards and actively participates in the Medallion Foundation Safety Program and the Alaska Air Carriers Association.

Our pledge is to operate a well-maintained fleet of aircraft with the best professionals in the industry, providing the customer with the safest and most reliable transportation network in our region of Alaska.

When business or personal travel takes me across Western Alaska, whether it’s to Unalakleet, my hometown of Point Hope – or many of the spots in-between, I like to put my trust in Bering Air to get me there. The company is what I look for in a carrier – reliable, safe and friendly.
